Selling Corn to Tharaldson Ethanol 04/06/20 12:27:29 PM
There have been many questions by producers about marketing corn to the ethanol plant. Hopefully this will clear up some of those questions.
You are actually selling to Clifford Farmers Cooperative which in turn sell the corn to Tharaldson Ethanol as needed. When selling corn direct to Clifford Farmers Cooperative producers are eligible to receive patronage dividends.
Before selling corn, producer needs to set up an account by calling Doug or Brad.
If a producer elects to haul corn to Tharaldson Ethanol through a local elevator, said producer must contact the local elevator directly. No dividends are paid on bushel hauled through other entities.
If you have any questions, please call to discuss.
